Good Leaver partners with publicly funded Medical Research Institutions to promote short term, professional volunteering projects. The projects vary but will normally involve the application of advanced statistical modelling and/or engineering to vast, complex structured and unstructured data sets.
Projects are unpaid, conducted onsite or remotely and typically
last from 3 – 6 months.
Biostatistics or medical research experience is not necessary, however, these are highly technical projects that require advanced graduate-level education in a STEM discipline and practical experience working with very large datasets.
